Hello,
I am working in SAP DM (stack 1600) with an active directory user. It works properly except for server content refresh. If I refresh by client (command workbook), the refresh goes well, but if I refresh by server this error message arises:
In log (error trace) I found this:
2021-11-26 12:23:52.5166 [19] [ERROR] ==>
-------- Begin --------
ErrorID: 06cf54e9-cc48-495a-9a04-1334120b7e5d
Message: Request format is unrecognized.

The error message is very generic and I do not understand what does not work. This issue occurs for every chapters in this DM.

Hello Marc,
the error message is a bit different and more generic: "An error occurred during execution. See log file for details." then in log there are just the message I wrote before.

Try turning on DEBUG logging
2292975 - How to turn on Debug Logging
In the debug log, check the entries around the time you run the refresh, you should see the beginning by this entry:
2021-11-26 12:14:23.4781 [7] [DEBUG] ==> ContentRefreshService.IsDynamized - Start
..MarcHi a.migliore
The error in the log you see, has nothing to do with the issue you face.
I assume you get the error "invalid user/pwd" when you run the refresh?
See: 2190755 - SAP Disclosure Management - Connection to the data source failed, invalid username or password
Most common issue is that the identity of the application pool user has insufficient access to the AD server

Hi Andrea,
Is this a new Installation?
Have you checked that the Server Datasource connection has the correct url and credentials?
