Hello, friends!
I'm ABAP-developer and work with SAP yMKT and SAP CRM before.
I've never worked with SAP CPQ before, but now it has become necessary to examine this solution as a developer, especially:
1. Where to begin as a developer?
2. Is it possible to modify standard logic?
3. How to add custom logic?
I would be grateful for any advice, any links, or books.
Thanks!

Hello Sigy,
First I'll suggest you to have a look at the SAP help portal for CPQ, all the documentation is there. CPQ Online Help
To add custom logic, CPQ use Python scripting that can be launch on specific event provided by the solution. CPQ offer a lot of API that can be use too and there's also a great formula builder that use different pre-defined Tag.
But to help you more on specific subject, I got some question for you.
Are you going to integrate CPQ with others SAP product (ECC or S4/Hanna, SAP CRM, SAP yMKt)?
Do you have VC configuration needed to be integrated with CPQ?
Are you looking to create configurable material directly in CPQ?
Thanks

Maxime, thanks a lot for your feedback.
About your questions:
1. Yes. We're going to integrate CPQ with SAP yMKT.
2. I'm not sure. I think at this moment it's not necessary.
3. Yes.
Also, I want to ask you for some advice for a totally new person/developer in SAP QPS: What's the minimum knowledge that could help me to start developing?
Thanks!
