SAP CPQ Quote 2.0: Is it possible to use the approval rule process on quote item level?

Dear SAP Community,

The standard approval rule functionality works on the header level of an quote.
Is it possible also to use the approval rule functionality on quote item level?

For example:

I have four items in my quote.
All for of them exceed the maximum discount.
I request an approval and the approver gets for each item an request for approval.

Is that feasabile in SAP CPQ 2.0? Or at least what is feasible on item level?

On Item level set some flag to determine which line needs to go for approval.
