SAP CPQ- How to enter attribute value with more than 255 characters

In SAP CPQ Product Attribute values do not allow to enter more than 255 characters.

Is there any way we can enter long text (more than 255 characters ) in Attribute value.

Steps to reproduce:

SAP CPQ Go to Setup->Product Catalog->Attributes->Add/Edit Attribute->Go to Attribute Values->Try to enter value with more than 255 characters->

Warning comes 'Attribute Display Value has more than 255 characters.'

yes, that's current limitation to hold upto 255 characters. you can raise a customer influence request to get this extended length and get this voted from all customers.. Once its reached to 15 votes.. It will considered for enhancement from CPQ engineering team.

Workaround... Create Custom field in Quote level and not at Product Configuration level. This is custom development and not recommended approach.
