Hi All,
SAP CPQ is very useful product for product configurations and pricing. The product has lot of formula, CTX tags and rules which can be used to configure the product as per customer's need. This can be considered as FIT (Configurable/Out of Box available in product)
If any custom development or process is needed like calling a web service and storing the value in custom quote field before saving needs iron python scripting. This can be considered as GAP (Custom Development)
Can we classify iron python scripting, custom actions and custom API as GAP (needs custom development even if it is cloud based and available within the SAP CPQ system)?
Is this classification correct for identifying the GAPs and FIT?
I am trying to find a similarity with SAP C4C product where if SDK code is required then it is GAP since it involves development.
Let me know your thoughts on this.
Best Regards,
Gauri
