SAP CPQ Adobe Sign

Dear Experts,

Hope you are doing good. I am facing an issue with status changes while using adobe sign integration. When I generate the document for the e-sign system converts the status from 'Open' to 'Waiting for the e-sign'. This status update work with the action name of 'Change E-Sign Status'.

The problem is when the customer signs the document quote status does not change from 'Waiting for e-sign' to 'E sign accepted'. Also, I check the workflow permission, and all of the user types have access for the 'E sign Accepted' action. What am I missing?

Hi mertkan

Please enable the same action under Other quotes tab. Please note that you have also enabled these actions for the specific user types.

Also, if you are using a guest users to sign the document then please make sure the guest user is set under Setup -> Quotes -> Email Customers / Quote Acceptance Settings -> User used for Quote Acceptance. The user type that the guest user belongs to must have permissions for the these actions.

Hope this helps,

Nikhil

Hi wnikhil,

Thank you for your support, you are always assisting. I put the same action under the other quotes tab and all the user types have permission for these actions. I tried as you said but nothing changed. Any other suggestions?

Hi mertkan

Could you check if you are getting anything in logs and share the error screenshot?

Best,

Hi wnikhil,

Any comments for the above error. I realize that when we sent the document for the sign same error exists but this time event type is different. Do we need to configure extra steps on the adobe side? I followed the integration guide.

Many thanks,

Hi mertkan,

Could you please try after enabling the action 'ESIGNED' with ending status at Signed in the workflow for both sections 'My Quotes' and 'Other Quotes' ?

Best,

Nikhil

Hi wnikhil,

The error still the same. 😞

I defined the new action as 'ESIGNED' and gave permission to all types of users.

Hi mertkan,

Okay then in that case I'd suggest to open an incident with SAP support team.

Best,

Nikhil
