Could someone point me to documentation about SAP BPC working offline? What I need to know is what can be done with SAP BPC offline and how it works

Hi Alex, it is not clear what you mean by BPC offline.

Do you mean the BPC environment status being offline (set from BPC web) or when you use EPM Add-in reports with no connection to the network?

If user wants to transport an application set, the status of the application must be set to offline.

Would suggest you have look at sap note 1699786 - The usage of the status in an application set

You can distribute BPC reports and input forms to the users without BPC connection and without epm client installed. Data entered in the input forms can be later saved to BPC server.

Please explain your business requirements.

Thanks for your quick response.

Basically we need users which can't access to Internet easily (NGO on field) to load budgeting data to SAP. I'd like to know how users can load that data (via Excel??) and what to do when connection is available.

I do not understand your business case! Epm report can be refreshed when the person has a connection to bpc server. Then it can be saved like any excel file.

Please describe the required scenario step by step.
