SAP BPC NW 10 - Error using YTD Measure in BPC Report in Periodic model

Hi Experts,

We have an issue while refreshing the reports on YTD measure in a periodic model in SAP BPC 10.0. The YTD measure is working fine when we refresh for all years until 2020 but when we refresh the report for 2021, it is giving an error. Time Dimension for 2020 was created in 2019. About a month back, we updated Time dimension members for 2021.

Error details. Also, please find screen shot attached.

One or more errors occurred. The execution of report Default Report failed. Please contact your administrator. Bad request. Server message: code: SY_530 severity: error description: An exception was raised log id: 051Mkqys7kgtglkdesjEb0 DATAVALUE: MDX: V1: V2: V3: V4: ----------------- Framework message: The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request. The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.

1. Please find BPC/BW version details attached

2. Please find BPC Time Dimension screen shot attached from Front end.

3. While checking the Hierarchy of TIME Dimension in BW system, the YTD hierarchy is not updated correctly. please find screen shot attached. The Hierarchy in BW is getting updated like PARENTH1 (calender). Please find screen shot attached.

Please note: we do not have issues while refreshing reports until year 2020. we recently update TIME Dimension for 2021 and have issues refreshing YTD for 2021 only.

Sorry, but if you want an answer - please use "insert Image" instead of incorrect "Insert File"

Thanks again Vadim, There is a plan to upgrade current version to 10.1 in Jan 2021.

Your CURRENT version SP is terribly old... Do you understand the difference between version and SP?

In general - you have very old issue with automatic time hierarchy generation.

Your BW and BPC SP are terribly old.

Upgrade to resent required!

There is nothing wrong with the version of BW and BPC.

The SP is old - upgrade to latest SP for both! You will receive the same answer from SAP!
