SAP BPC Model Deletion Error

Hi,

When we are deleting a Model from Environment in BPC Admin.

Getting the error as below

Dereferencing of the NULL reference

An exception of type 'CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL' occurred, that was not caught anywhere in the call hierarchy. It was not handled locally or declared using a RAISING clause.

After getting this error, All Models in the environment are not working and when i try to check the models in BPC Admin, below error appears.

Hello Fauzan,

Please check the following:

• RSA1 are the Model still there?
• Check the BW rights of the User
• Check settings on SCC4 and SE06
• delete again
• Check the User on SLG1 -> error message?

If you have still the Issue, you can try to delete the model manually on the tables

• UJA_APPL
• UJA_APPSET_INFO
• UJB_TMPL
• UJA_DIM_APPL

We did have the same issue, use SE16 table UJA_APPL and clean the deleted Model.

Try this:

Go to BW>RSA1> on the left axis Transport connections > In the top Panel select Edit > Transport > Change Activate/Desactivate standard.

Could be security profiles...

Check the dump in ST22.

Have you done backup / restore ? migration ?

Hi Shrikant,

There are no ST22 errors.

But in RSA1, the model got deleted, in UJFS the model folder with still exist.

I didnt do any backup or Restore or migration.

Go to SE38,

Run UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT and select clean environment option or

UJAA_DELETE_APPSET ( Select only that environment which you want to delete )

Will delete the whole Environment right?

I want to delete only a Model in the environment.

Is there any program to delete only a model from environment? In my case becuase of error in SAP BPC Admin, and my BW Cube for the model already deleted, i am getting the above mentioned errors?

Yes , that will delete the environment.

Right now I don't have system, For deleting model check the programs start with UJA if any

Can you check by creating and deleting one new model ?

Please try to clear cache using program UJA_REFRESH_DIM_CACHE.

Successfully created model, but when i try to add any new dimension or change any securing dimensions and save the model, got the below error.
