SAP BPC EPM Issue

Hi Experts,

My client is having below issue and i am trying to find out root cause of it. Recently few of users upgraded EPM Add In to SP21 PL3 .NET 4.0 version. Now they are facing below issue.

EPM add in loading whenever people are starting any of the Office products – this also should not be the case we want EPM to load only when initiated from web otherwise by default it should be disabled in all products. Otherwise we have EPM loading when using WORD or Power Point.

Do you know any such specific setting for it? Please advise.

Hi Parag,

Can you try to change it to 'inactive' through below path for whichever(office or power point) you do not want to load the EPM Add-in

If its Word, open empty word file -> File -> Add-Ins - > Select EPP add-in for MS - > under manage, select COM  Add-Ins -> click on go - > You can deselect EPM add-in for MS in the pop up.
