Hi Vadim,

is their any chance to use/trigger RFC within the Excel EPM Client?

I would like to trigger a Function Module and receive messages about Status or return values. I need this to control CRM which I use as a data source

You can use RFC with VBA not related to EPM...

What is the business case?

I know how to use RFC with VBA but in that case a would need a technical user with password to establish the Connection.

Isn't it possible to use the established Connection from BPC? As I said, I would like to have return values (successful, error Messages ... etc) from function modules

What is the business case? How do you want to interact with the system using RFC from the business point of view?
