SAP BPC Currency conversion issue with Formula "AS_IS"

Dear team,

I am facing an issue with currency conversion for formula type “AS_IS”. Currency conversion is not happening. Please find the below example scenario.

Eg: I am running currency conversion for an entity ( BRU0) of type EUR currency. Our target currency is also EUR.

Before running Currency conversion:

Prompt selections while executing Currency conversion.

· While running currency conversion for S_NONE, the DMP is getting failed. And the error message is showing “ Member S_NONE” Doesn’t exists.

· While running it for Group C_RHAB, the DMP getting succeed. But the currency conversion is not happening for the account 21300.

Currency Conversion rule set up:

Currency conversion Business rule for “UNRESEQ2”:

Account dimension with Rate type as “UNRESEQ2”.

Group Dimension:

Ownership data:
Ownership values maintained.

Exchange rates:

Exchange rates are maintained.

Hi,

When using the script you have shown you need to select a scope different from S_NONE as S_NONE has no currency value as a property value.

[AS_IS] means that the system does not calculate anything but retains a value already there. In your case you apply [ASIS] to the F_OPE flow. Your report does not show the flow dimension, so would I be correct in assuming, that the data shown is on the F_OPE flow? In that case you need to provide the converted amount to the system. On an opening flow this is usually by running a carry forward in both local and converted currency.
