SAP BPC 10.1 transport technical name and description

Dear experts,

I tried to transport 2 new dimensions from my DEV environment to QLT and PRD.

In QLT I found no issue. In PRD the transport was done succesfully but when I go to RSA1 actually I cannot see the description of the dimension but only the technical name.

Indeed in BPC Administrator I can see the description of the dimension and the related properties, without problems.

My question is: is this a normal behaviour of the transport system? could I add the Description directly in BW? Can I leave the dimension like this or will this generate something wrong?

Dear all,

actually I checked better and it looks really like a language problem.

In fact if I login in Production in Arabic I can see the description for the dimensions.

I have already checked the parameters in RZ10 and it seems the two environments have the seme settings.

I noticed that when I import the transport request in PRD, the login page is in arabic: so it looks like he transported the objects under arabic language.

How can I transport them under english? is there something else I could check?

Hi,

This seems to be something with the language setting of the transport system.  You may find better answers in a different SCN group.
