SAP BPC 10.0 Non HANA Upgrade to 10.1 HANA

Hello,

After going through various help documents and post on upgrade. I need small guidance before we do upgrade.

We are migrating from BPC 10 (BW7.3) Non HANA to BPC 10.1 (BW 7.5)

So the migrate program "UJT_MIGRATE_100_TO_101" will be successful as BW 7.5 does not support BPC 10. So by running migrate program on BW 7.5 would it work?

We have upgraded from 10.0 Non-HANA to 10.1 on HANA.
After successful migration, we are not able to process dimensions and unable to execute data manager packages in Custom Environment.

Hello,

It is not clear to me how you are doing the upgrade, if you are upgrading an existing 7.3 installation or installing or if you have a new 7.5 system installed and have restored BPC using UJBR. In either case, the answer is that UJT_MIGRATE_100_to_101 should do the basic migration if everything else is done correctly and you already have the BPC environment in the new BW 7.5 system.

Please note even after a successful migrations, using UJT_MIGRATE_100_to_101, you still need to test your script logic, data manager packages, business rules and any customization programs. There may have been changes in the BPC script logic syntax for example that the migration program will not be able to fix.
