SAP BPC 10.0 MS SP21 admin upgrade and SP25 EPM addin upgrade question

Hello,

      We have SAP BPC 10 MS version. With current SP13  on both admin and Client.  We are planning to upgrade it to SP21 on the server and SP25 for the EPM Addin.

Are these backward compatible? In the sense can a user using Windows 7 access teh admin client on his or her machine and similarly SP25 for the EPM addin even though the user still has windows 7 on his/her machine.

Hi Indu

The version of EPM Add-in client is independent of the version of BPC on the server.

As such the EPM add-in can be used with both BPC 10 and BPC 10.1 regardless of the BPC server service pack level.

There is no dependency between the EPM add-in and the BPC Admin client whatsoever. They are not related, dependent or connected in any way.
