SAP BFC Exclusive Mode

Hi, I'm trying to move a new reference table from Dev to Test and continue to receive the error message 'The database structure definition must be received in Exclusive mode'. In my test environment in CtAdmin under operation I have gone to 'ALL TASKS' and 'Clicked on 'Start Data Source in Exclusive mode', however this seems to have no effect and I still get the same error message. What am I missing??

Hi Fiona,

Can you double check the status in CtAdmin.

The procedure is:

- stop the datasource (make sure there are no ctserver.exe processes on any application server(s) running )

- then, start the datasource in exclusive mode

- check in CtAdmin, the status should show that the system is running in exclusive mode

- then, login and perform the 'receive' task
