S4Hana Public cloud - Ex. rate diff. acc. incomplete

We are implementing S4 hana Public cloud version.
In bank statement transaction  for Romania we receive the error that Ex rate diff.  acct. are incomplete for account 0011001020.
Could you please advise how to solve this issue.

In Public Cloud, the system checks Exchange Rate Difference Accounts for any G/L account used in bank statement postings.

If the G/L account 0011001020 is missing:
-Realized Gain Account
-Realized Loss Account
in the Account Determination for Exchange Rate Differences, the system raises this error.

Unlike On-Premise, Public Cloud does not allow defining separate transaction keys.
Instead, it uses the Central Finance Configuration → Automatic Account Determination via SSCUIs.

Where to Fix	CBC / SSCUI: Define Accounts for Exchange Rate Differences (Automatic Account Determination).
How to Fix (Steps)	1. Open Manage G/L Account Master Data → G/L 0011001020 → check Account Determination Group. 2. Go to SSCUI: Set Exchange Rate Difference Accounts. 3. Maintain: Realized Gain Account and Realized Loss Account for that same determination group.
Fields to Maintain	• Realized Exchange Gain Account (P/L G/L) • Realized Exchange Loss Account (P/L G/L)
Prerequisite	Both gain/loss accounts must be valid P&L accounts, not balance sheet accounts.
Impact if Not Maintained	Bank statement posting will fail for any FCY movement affecting G/L account 0011001020.
What Else to Check if Still Fails	• G/L account currency settings • G/L is properly assigned to determination group • Gain/loss accounts are active and not blocked for posting • Bank account clearing assignment accuracy
Temporary Workaround	None — this config is mandatory. Only valid fix is to assign gain/loss accounts.
Final Fix Summary	Determine the Account Determination Group for G/L 0011001020 → maintain its exchange rate gain & loss accounts → reprocess bank statement.
