S4 BPC Optimized: You are not authorized to use function Create in Web UI

Using a fresh installation of S/4HANA Planning and Consolidation (Optimized), when attempting to create a new embedded environment in the BPC Web UI we are seeing an error referencing 'authorization to Create'.

However, the user in question has all of the BW Authorization Objects and activities I would expect for managing environments and workspaces.

Could anybody suggest where the missing authorization is? I would run an auth trace myself, but do not have access to do so.

Try running SU53 in SAP gui, right after the error.

I'd assume RSBPC_ENVM would be enough, but might be something else.

And there are a number of SAP standard functions you could try as well, such as:

• SAP_BPC_ADMIN
• SAP_BPC_SYSADMIN
• SAP_BPC_SERVICE

Might be helpful.

Thanks Lucas, another fast response.

I had completely overlooked SU53 - very useful.

It turns out it was authorization object S_RS_WSPAC that was missing. Much appreciated.
