S/4HANA Closing Cockpit Factory Calendar not considered for offset calc

In our Customer system (S/4HANA 1909), we have just started using SAP Financial Closing Cockpit. Our understanding is that when you create a Month-end task list, you specify Friday, January 01, 2021 as its key date and use the 01 Germany factory calendar. The system by default uses Monday, January 04, 2021, the closest workday after the key date, as the reference date.

This is currently not the case in our scenario, the system is using Friday, January 01, 2021 as the closest workday and it is not taking the factory calendar settings / config into account.

Kindly advise if we have perhaps missed a step in our setup?

Thank you!

Dear Lindie,

Unfortunately, it seems to be taking longer than usual for your question to be answered. You might want to try an alternative route to speed things up.

Please check if a similar question has already been asked in the Community. We have found that sometimes questions that have been answered before are no longer receiving responses.

The easiest way to do this, is to visit the All Questions page and search for your specific topic.

You could also check the SAP Support Portal and search for SAP Notes, SAP Knowledge Base Articles and more.

If all of this doesn’t work, I would suggest that you create a support ticket. All you need to do is log onto the SAP Support Portal with your S-user ID and password: http://service.sap.com/message

Thanks,

Marvin

We decided not to use the calendar after all. Thank you for the response.
