S/4 2020 FI MM FM error message FMFG_ABP005 "Could not retrieve status for FM area

Hello SAP Friends,

In an SAP S/4 2020 system, with FI, CO, MM, and FM being implemented, this error Message no. FMFG_ABP005 is encounter when trying to complete a MIGO Goods Receipt on a PO. I have found no SAP Notes on this specific error.

We have confirmed that Status Management is not on in the system, no Status Profile is assigned to FM area SF01.

If you are aware of any SAP Notes on this issue please inform me. If you know a solution, also please inform, or suggest a resolution.

Hi,

The message is not related to status profile in FM, but to a fund status, checked within ABP (automatic budget posting) class. So, check the validity of the relevant fund source involved.
