RTC: HANA Views in Composite Provider shows as attribute View rather than Calculation View

Hi,

I am implementing Real Time Consolidation on S4 HANA on premise 1610 Release stack 02(05/2017) FP.

We are implementing Currency Translation in S4HANA itself, so our Composite Provider is a Union of Virtual Provider, Generated HANA Views 10 and 11.

These HANA Views 10 and 11 are basically the calculation views which fetch data to Composite Provider.

We have transported the Composite Provider in Quality system. Upon check, we found that the HANA Views 10 and 11 are showing to be as Analytical View with red color(Snapshot attached).

We re-activated the Composite Provider in Development and re-transported the Composite Provider and HANA Views to Quality but I see no change in Quality system.

Any clue, what could be the reason.

Hello Shubham,

Please refer to the SAP KBA 2511574 - Checkpoints for BPC Integration and Configuration in Real-Time Consolidation (RTC) in S/4H...

  • Note: If you are using the standard package sap.erp.sfin.rtc, you may lose your generated HANA calculation views after upgrading, as this package will be refreshed during the upgrade.
  • Best practice: We recommend users to copy the foundation view to their own package, and not use sap.erp.sfin.rtc in the RTCMD transaction.

Hi Asma,

We have followed the best practice. We have our own package and not sap.erp.sfin.rtc.

In the target system (QA) go to RTCMD with you model -> Click on Generate Objects.

Hi Lucas,

I have done it many times.

I did it once more but the result is same.

No errors when generating the views?

Is your QA client different from DEV?
