Hi Maria -

Like an earlier commentor mentioned, the system is checking if the functions had been changed/created/deleted already so the save button is not active. I experienced the same issue as you had today, and for the planning sequence I was trying to update, it was new information from the current forecast value.

What had happened is the correct information was uploaded, someone had overwritten it, (we are using the work status function earlier now because of it) and business users were trying to have the total back to a zero value as intended originally. To get around it, I added an additional data element and some of the upload values to trigger that the items had changed. Then the save function was available again. This didn't show up in trace mode, or any additional error messages.

I know this isn't a recent question you had, but since all the related questions I searched for did not have this bit of information; hopefully it will help someone else.

Thanks!

Hi Maria,

maybe the functions have not changed/created/delete any data records; the save button in RSPLAN is only active when the planning buffer contains changed or new records. You might run the functions in trace mode, then you get more information.
