RSECADMIN: Authorization

Example Scenery:

The RSECADMIN contains the dimension Plant with value I EQ BR99 and user assigned for it.

When user performs the workbook and not inform the plant in the prompt, the auth check will be performed with * in the plant. Consequently the workbook returns the message that user doesn´t have authorization. In this way the workbook will work only if user to fill the field Plant in the prompt with value BR99.

My question is: There is some kind of parameter or solution where if user not inform the value in prompt field, the report returns the values authorized in the RSECADMIN (In this case to plant BR99) instead the message of authorization error?

Hi Ricardo de Oliveira Lucca,

Create variable Authorization relevant for plant and add it in query so that it will bring only authorised master data members.
