Restore of Environment

Hi,

System details: BPC 10 NW SP17, BW 7.3, EPM Add-In SP21.

We want the test Large Key Figure on the Backup of the Production Environment.

We want to restore the Backup with a different name in DEV system. here, have some doubts.

1. Will it possible to restore it with a different name.

2. If yes, as the technicals names are same, will the restore will happen without any issues.

Thanks for quick reply.

Will it mean that the technical names will get changed when we backup / restore the environment.

Searched for documents for full information, but failed. Could you please refer some documents on this.
