Hello,
We lost our BusinessObject Financial Consolidation admin password for the webadmin portal (/webadmin/Default.aspx), and would like to reset it. We have sysadmin access to the MSSQL database.
We tried the query provided by Marc's solution here (https://answers.sap.com/questions/12889207/reset-passwords-admin-fc.html) but the platform still asks for a password and submitting the form with an empty password gets us an "invalid password" error message.
Is there a step we missed? Any help would be really appreaciated.

You may first stop the BFC datasource before updating the table ct_user_password and also check that the NULL value is correctly accepted by your database provider, in some cases it should be displayed 'NULL' instead of just NULL.
