Reference flow type 10 Follow-Up Posting

Dears,

When simulating the contract cash flow in RECN after posting the contract in rerapp,

We receive the following error and we do not want to assign the reference flow type 10 Follow-Up Posting because it increases the condition amount and also when we add new condition after posting it raises the same error but to assign reference flow type 20.

But when we assign reference flow type 10 and 20 it increase the condition amount and this is not the requirement, we don’t want any change to the condition amount after posting and we need the ability to add new condition.

Best Regards,

Khairy Soliman

Dear Khairy Soliman,

Pls note that adding reference flow type 10 & 20 will not make any changes to your condition, until there is a change in unit price after posting.

For any condition if any changes in unit price after running the RERAPP for the given period, the difference amount of unit price will triggered again in cash flow / RERAPP by the help of ref flow type 10 & 20.

( Example : a condition is added 01.01.2015 to 31.12.2015  unit price is 1000 USD / Month. upto march already posted using RERAPP.

Then on 01.04.2015 some body in ur users changed the same condition unit price as 1500 and saved, Then from april on words it will calculate 1500, but what about jan- march since already posted, system will generate one more cash flow with the difference amount of 500 for each month.

In fact its required to make the postings up to date. it will not harm for your config also.if your flow type is not linked to reference flow type 10 & 20 the increment / decrements in conditions will not be up to date.

Try to go to configuration reference flow types and link your condition / flow type to reference flow types 10 & 20.

I hope this will resolve your issue.

Thanks,

Rao

Hi Khairy,

If you increase or discrease the condition amount which is already posted for the condition, SAP will automatically generate the differential value for posting,

you can use two step to stop it.

1. Copy the existing condition with the start date (< period after periodic posting already done)

2. Create reference flow type 10 in IMG (REFX)

Hi,

Please execute transaction RECDCGOL and forcibly regenerate the cashflow. After regeneration of cashflow, try simulating again in Contract.

Hopefully it should work. If its not working even after that, then you need to check with the reference flow types associated with the conditions being used.

Hi,

thanks for your reply,

All we need is to stop this automatic increase in this condition type after posting in rerapp, what is the changes should be made to avoid this...

please note that this happens only in this flow type...

Hi,

The error is because there are some changes for posted condition.

Due to that, system will need to generate a follow up posting as per the change.

Hence, you will need to customizing the reference flow type.

Please check if there were any change for the posted condition.
