Recurring rate - Overlapping periods

Hi Guys

The Recurring rate is creating BITs with overlapping period after versioning the provider contract. The change at the versioning was de billing cycle date.

The billing cycle date was changed from 2 to 11.

Then, we have a BIT fom day 1 to 2 and another from day 1 to 10.

What can be done?

Hello,

when you modify your contract by adding a new version, you have to take care to use the same provider contract item external code. Else, it will create a second provider contract item with its own life cycle.

To check that open the provider contract in the SAP Convergent Charging Core tool, open he Provider contract (see Finding a Provider Contract) and open the versions of a provider contract. For each version check that the contract item external code is the same.

I just checked, the external codes are the same...

I understand that you only modified the parameter SAP Billing Date. If you have 2 BITs for the same month, it is not ok and I suggest you to create an incident on the SAP support portal.
