Realignment in S/4 HANA 2022
Dear Expert,
I am currently working on implementing Group Reporting following a brownfield migration to S/4 HANA 2022. During the execution of the realignment function, I have encountered an issue where the amounts in the global currency differ from those in the company code currency for the realigned documents.
Could you please advise on how to investigate this issue? Specifically:
How can I trace the original documents that are being realigned?
Are there any common causes or known issues related to this discrepancy?
Have other customers faced similar challenges, and if so, how were they resolved?
I would greatly appreciate your guidance on troubleshooting steps, configuration checks, or any relevant SAP Notes that could help resolve this issue.
Thank you in advance for your support. Please let me know if you need additional details or system information to assist further.

As long as you execute realignment job in periodic mode, you should be able to track the original posting as the document number should be the same, though the document type is different for the new posting.
If you map HSL( local currency ) to Group Currency in GRPL in version definition, check the reversal against original posting first.
