This got resolved through UI. Added styles to the field , container ids to make it read only.

This is known and could you kindly raise a customer Influence Portal request and share the link after requested , so you can get maximum votes.

Not possible and already many customers are asked, so please check if there is already someone created Influence request, then you can just vote it.
