RE(Real Estate Management) Data Migration from legacy system

Hello everyone,

I would like to know what is the best or the most usual tool or procedure you use to migrate the master or transactional data from the migration objects of the RE module from a legacy system to S / 4HANA. The objects are Lease Object, RE Contract, Building, Architectural Vision and Economic Unit. Thanks in advance.

Hi what I've mostly seen is the use of LSMW with the BAPI's for RE-FX or the use of Business Objects Data Services (BODS) using the same BAPI's. Even though LSMW is officially not supported it still works in S/4HANA.

In OpenSAP there is currently the below offering, but this is focused around the S/4HANA Migration Cockpit and this doesn't include the RE-FX objects (help.sap.com S/4HANA Migration Cockpit😞

Hi Natali

We had recently the same requirements when we moved from SAP ECC to S/4. Since the S/4HANA Migration Cockpit does not support the RE-FX objects, we choose a RE-FX Addon, which I can recommend. It allows the migration for the mentioned RE-RX Objects – also for RE-FX contracts and their valuations.
