RAW Bits generated for Contract Account change for an existing subscription order

Hello Experts

We have a situation to change the Contract Account(CA) to an existing subscription contract. We've successfully modified the CA via change process and it is successfully distributed to FICA and CC.

But BITS are generated with old CA with RAW status.

Could you please help address this issue.

Thanks

Anil

Hi Anil,

Within Convergent Charging, the provider contracts have a chronology: the list of versions is updated each time you change the contract items, the parameter values, or the account assignments.
Based on your explanation, it seems that your provider contract still contains its first version where the account assignment was pointing to the old external account, and that your BIT belongs to that period.
On the other hand, if you created a BIT for a more recent period, it would reference the new account assignment.

To confirm our understanding, you can use Core tool, open the contract, and click on the "clock" icon ("Change version") to see the full chronology. There, we expect you to find at least two entries and, if you double-click the one that covers the incorrect BIT's date, we think you'll find the obsolete account assignment.
If our understanding is correct, you'll need to adjust the account assignment, or the dates of the contract's chronology, depend upon what your requirement (if needed, Convergent Charging allows you to overwrite old periods, so as to update them).

Feel free to ask for more details.

Best regards.

Do you have the CITs created for the BITs?. If yes, have you changed the contract accounts of the CITs?. It is possible that the CITs still hold the old contract account and as a result corresponding bits also follow the same contract account.
