Rate of Yield in IPR BOM

Hi Experts,

My client has an unique requirement for IPR implementation in SAP GTS (v11 sp17). They have a concept of rate of yield which when multiplied by the qty will give the IPR calculated in terms of quantity in an IPR BOM. I have specified the IPR product and components in SAP GTS and passed the product attributes to S4H. Also, as per SAP GTS, the IPR BOM has been manually entered in GTS (of course, only the IPR related components and the product). Now, in order to meet the client's requirement, I need to know the program name and the table name where this ROY (Rate of Yield) field should be added and thereby calculated to get the IPR relief (in terms of quantity). They have an anticipated export scenario. Your help will be highly appreciated. See the attached IPR example file for better understanding.

Warm regards,

Deepak

Hi Deepak,

I am not sure whether I understand your question correctly.

As far as I understand, you need to calculate stock calculation to be dynamic .

if that is the case , you can do enhancement in "/SAPSLL/SCP_IPR_CLOSING_HANDLE"

Kindly let me know if you need more info.

Thanks and Regards

Hi Dave,

Yes, it would be satisfactory to determine the yield figure when running the IPR Reports. Please tell me which are the IPR reports in GTS Customs Management so that we need to tweak that report to calculate the IPR relief in terms of quantity. The client have an IPR summary report from their legacy system and based on this report, they take a decision as to import the raw materials in Bonded warehouse or IPR. If they have enough IPR, then they will not put the imported materials in the bonded warehouse. The Customs authority has a requirement to send the IPR Summary for each export SAD. See the attached screenshot for more clarity. As you know, the manual BOM entered in GTS does not have a field to enter the yield rate.

As shown in the previous example, the IPR relief is calculated for each export SAD and also cumulated for that material. In addition to the export SAD, the requirement is to send the IPR summary for that export SAD to the customs authority. Also, as per the example, with 810 kg as IPR relief, I can now import 810 kg with no duty to be paid.

Hope it is clear now.

Warm regards,

Deepak

Hi Deepak,

The BoM components are recorded in table /SAPSLL/PRBOPC, so perhaps that answers your question.

I think you have understood the "yield" concept correctly, but I'm not quite sure why you would want to add a field for that purpose, since it would effectively only serve to duplicate information that is already in the BoM. Wouldn't it be more satisfactory to determine the yield figure when running the IPR report(s)?

As far as I know, the yield is usually requested by the Customs Authority on the application form for a new Authorisation, rather than for any transactional purpose. If that's the case, then making corrections in the standard code seems rather excessive.

If I have misunderstood, please correct me - thanks.

Dave
