Rate Elements limit in Subscription Billing.

Dear Community,

Are there limits for Rate Elements (e.g. max. number in business configuration; number of subscription parameters for subscription creation; value help for rate element creation etc.) in Subscribtion Billing? 
If yes, where and how high is the limit?

general comment for everyone following the subscription billing community activities:
Always a good source for learning about the SB data model is in the Business Accelerator Hub and especially the API/event documentation:

Looking at your particular question, one key aspect is the assignement of rate elements to the rate plan template. The post method shows a max number of charges of 100. 

Based on my experience, everything up to around 50 charges works very well. Above there might be situations, where the calculation of the items in bills may take a bit longer due to the volume of pricing activities, that have to be executed by the system in case of changes.

Further things to notice related to your question:

• The number of rate elements defined in business configuration is not limited. You can create as many as you want.
  
  
• In value helps, the system only loads the first 500 entries. If there are more values defined and matching your search criteria, you need to narrow down the search criteria to make the entries showing up in the results list.
