RAR Order RAI's for consumption events (BRIM-RAR integration)

Dear All

We are configuring a scenario (BRIM- RAR integration) wherein a subscription contract having a product with both recurring and consumption charges is created.

We are able to get the RAI’s generated for recurring charges but for the consumption charges, the RAI’s are missing the parent RAI (i.e. Order RAI)

The revenue accounting classes are maintained, the billable item classes have the “Integration with Revenue Accounting” flag enabled.

When we do an invoice with both recurring and consumption charges, the invoice RAI’s are generated for recurring and consumption charges. The recurring RAI’s are processed successfully but the RAI’s for consumption are erroring out as they don’t have a ref to order RAI

We can’t figure out how two Order RAI’s will be generated for a single product (1 for recurring service type and other for consumption service type)

Does someone have an idea which customizing needs to be done to enable Order RAI’s to be created for the consumption related invoice RAI’s to link to.

Any help/hints would be much appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out to us.

The consumption service type has to be transferred to the provider contract item when the provider-contract is created. Then the Order RAI for the consumption service type will be additionally created.
