Rank option in PAPM

HI experts, I would like to reproduce in PAPM the rank option available in the calculation views in Hana Studio.

The purpose is to obtain the one record for every partition of the rank.

How can I obtain the same result using PAPM functions?

Hi SB,

Just to make it simple, assuming that you are using a model table for your source data which have the following fields, PRODUCT, TYPE, QTY and you wanted to use RANK FUNCTION. You can create a view function (implicit) and use the model table as input.
On the output tab, define a RANK FIELD and use the RANK () function in formula box.

RANK() OVER ( PARTITION BY PRODUCT ORDER BY QTY DESC )

Where data is group by Product and Quantity of Types within the product are ranked.
