Hello I have a question regarding to the settings regarding the type in a method-based multiplier.
Could anybody explain what the effects of using a type e.g. L of a method-based multiplier are in a business rule when I use the method-based multiplier?
Is there any documentation or paper about this?
Thanks in advance and best regards
Gerd

Hi Gerd,
Please check the below link:
Types are used to restrict various calculation while running consolidation.
Basically, they are used to develop separate elimination and adjustment entries depending on type.

Hi,
This is to restrict the multiplier to some method types. But I never use it since the method can be filtered directly in the multiplier.
In the IFRS and USGAAP content, this field is not used.
