Query "Plan cost Center on periods" with Lock conflict

Hello Experts,

Does anybody knows how to remove the lock conflicts that appear in RSPLSE? I already removed the locks in SM12, but the conflict still exists and the query "Plan Cost Center on periods" does not allow me to make manual planning anymore.

I'm in BPC 10.1 Embedded, set to infoprovider /ERP/SFIN_V20.

Kind regards

Mayumi

Hi Mayumi,

in RSPLSE the 'Locking Conflict' tab shows the last recorded lock conflict (per application server), so it is just a poor man's version of a log. It is a means to analyse locking conflicts. A recorded lock conflict creates no new lock conflict, so after deletion of locks in SM12 you get no new lock conflict based on a recorded lock conflict.

If you want to delete the log you can execute report RSPLS_DELETE_LAST_LCK_INFO.

Gregor

Thanks Gregor!

The lock conflict disappeared from RSPLSE after some days. It really wasn't the problem with the locking cells.

I found out that my query didn't have all the characteristics from the Infoprovider. After adding them, data was available for manual planning again.

Cheers

Mayumi
