I would like to ask the expert advice regarding "Purchase Order Accrual - Tax postings" on KBA 3157756 and Help page.

Query:
In SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, it appears that the BAdI for tax calculation provided in the Private Cloud is not on the available list. Is there a method to perform tax posting within the Accruals Engine in the Public Cloud Edition? Can BADI_ACE_DOCUMENT_SCHEMA_CUST be used as a substitute, or is there another way to achieve this without using a BAdI? I would appreciate any guidance you can provide on this topic.

BADI_ACE_DOCUMENT_SCHEMA_CLD in Public Cloud.
BADI_ACE_DOCUMENT_SCHEMA_CUST is the on-prem/private-cloud BAdI and is not the right one for S/4HANA Public Cloud. SAP’s KBA explicitly names the Cloud BAdI for changing accrual posting line items (_SCHEMA_CLD) and lists it under Accruals Management BAdIs in SAP Help.

If you want to avoid a BAdI entirely, your options are outside the Accrual Engine:

Post a separate FI tax or adjustment after the accrual, using Manage Journal Entries or Upload General Journal Entries, or clear to Post Tax Payables if that is appropriate.  SAP Help Portal-Manage Journal Entries (New Version)

Pre-calculate tax outside the system and record follow-up entries using standard applications or APIS, as the Accrual Engine does not perform complete tax determination.
