PS WBS Settings

Dear PS Experts,

I have a non-statistical project. Some of the WBSs defined under it are statistical and some are not. This is wrong. As you know, I cannot make this change for the current project/wbs.

When I want to create a new WBS in project, the statistical tick is automatically ticked and does not allow me to change it. I want to change it myself.

Hi @controllingprinc34 

When you set the statistical flag for a project, this flag applies to the WBS elements present in the project hierarchy. Upon saving the project for the first time, you cannot change the selection of this flag.

Thanks for your answer @Monisha_Sivaram. The project is not statistical. Some of the wbs connected to the project are statistical and some are not. I don't want to fix this and never experience it again.

Check your PS configuration for the field status related to the Project Profile you are using.  That is where fields can be set to Display only.

thank you answer @Ken_Melching .The project type used has not been assigned to the project profile No customization has been done. Could this be the reason?

The "project type" is mostly for identification purposes and very little control functions. Please check with your SAP configuration expert to analyze your PS set-up.

thanks your answer. but as i said,When I want to create a new wbs it comes in gray.
