Protection of sheet having 'EPMselectmultimember' function

Hi all,

Need a quick help on the following scenario.

In my worksheet, I am overriding the input form based on the selection from 'Epmselectmultimember' function. Accordingly after selection, will do a sheet refresh and take the selection to the input form. I unlocked these range of cells  - Select member cell and its range, then added the sheet protection. But after protecting the sheet, the 'Epmselectmultimember' is not working. Please find attached the screenshot for your reference.

You have to clear Lock for cell with Epmselectmultimember and for cells in result range:

Here: For cells A18,A19:B30

Ups, correction - only A18 has to be not Locked, the result range can be locked!

Some extra tests - even A18 can be locked!

What is you EPM SP? I am testing on SP24

Hi Vadim,

Still the same.

I tried both the options suggested by you. 'Enable double click' is checked inside the User options.

We are into AO 2.2 EPM Plugin.

You are working with a standard, not embedded BPC!

Why AO 2.2 EPM Plugin?

Standard EPM SP24,25,26...

Yes Vadim.. we are into AO 2.2 EPM plugin and not embedded BPC.

If you could find any solution for above issue in AO 2.2 EPM plugin please let me know. Thanks.

Hi Sreeja,

After locking the sheet, Check whether the cell with function EPMSELECTMEMBER is still locked/unlocked???

For the report section, use Formatting sheet to keep the cells unlocked! and cells outside the report, try to slect each cell and then unlock!
