Hi SAP,
We are planning a new project where we have materials planned from stock and without from stock check box enabled. For the products where we have from stock enabled we could see the inventory cost has taken for the planned cost, but for the products where we have not enable from stock the planned cost is determined from the purchase related documents.
Is there a way for us to determine the valuation method for the planned cost of the material in the projects? Like we need inventory cost as the valuation method for all scenarios.
Thanks,

Dear Customer,
The planned cost determination for materials in projects can be influenced by several factors, including whether materials are planned with or without the "From Stock" checkbox enabled. When materials are planned "from stock," the system uses the inventory cost for valuation, as it reflects the actual cost of the stock already present.
Verify that the material master data is set up correctly, with proper valuation methods defined. This could involve setting specific valuation classes or defining pricing conditions that prioritize inventory costing
