Profitability segment is not poplulated in accounting document posted from VIM

Dear All,

We have a scenario, where we are getting the accounting document posted from VIM. They are taking the cost object as statistical internal order for reporting purpose.

When it is posted to accounting, the profitability segment should be updated with details which will flow into COPA. This is not happening here, profitability segment field is blank in accounting document. Further, we have made the GL account as profitability segment active in OKB9.

If we don't use statistical order and keep it blank in VIM, the profitability segment is updated in accounting document.

Any idea why it is behaving like this ?

We have the data, this is not the case. Might be some other reason.

Please check that the Profit Center and/or Business Area populated from the Statistical IO and the Profit Center and /or Business Area in the Profitability Segment are same. If they are different, the posting will only be to IO
