Profit center change with KEND in Account-Based Profitability

When trying to change the profit center in the KEND transaction, the system does not make any changes. It was written in a blog that this field cannot be changed. But after the blog was written, could someone have found a solution in a different way?

Hi,

if you try to use PRCTR in KEND, the message FCO_COPA203 should pop-up.

Profit center and other fields (i.e. company code, functional area, segment) shouldn't be changed using KEND because even if you can go trough to do a rederivation, it only updates COPA tables (CE4xxxx, CE4xxxx_ACCT)  without changes to ACDOCA table.

To make changes to profit centers in already written documents you should try looking for other solutions.

The complexity increases if you use segments and document splitting alongside your profit centers.
