Dear Experts.

we are into Processing industry and our business scenario is that we will make a standard BOM with Co Products. One Input and multiple Output, we will provide in the equivalence in MM, while processing the order there may be chance that few output co product will not get process and this result in PRD. At the time of ML, this PRD is not allocated to material since no output quantity resulting in non allocated or not distributed PRD. Now our business want to allocate this PRD to other products during the month end.

Please suggest the best way allocate this PRD. We are in SAP S4 1909

Hi @SMuthukumar ,

Normally, during the Preliminary Settlement for Co-Products (CO8A), no costs should be posted into the coproducts (order items) without output. This ensures you don't get any variances and price differences (PRD) for these coproducts.

Please check the default rule you are using for your order type/plant (OPL8). Please check the help guidance for this. Eg. PP6 default rule will probably be the best option for you.

I hope this helps.

BR,

Filipe

Hi Filipe_Magalhaes, Thanks for your response, we are using PP_PI where the default rule PP6 cannot be added in our default rule as per the S Note 2556826 - Error message C5624 when changing default rule in t-code COR4
