Problem with the validation of a Currency Translationon version rule.

Hi,

I have a problem with the validation of a Currency Translation version rule.

I am using the previously working currency translation rule e.g. 'END'.

I add a new line to the rule. The change is saved but the rule is not validated.

I get error ID: Value 'END' is invalid (line 0).

I am working on SAP BPC RTC.

What could be the cause of this problem?

Hi Iwona,

Can you try creating new rule and see if you are able to see 'END" value in popup . If you are not able to see END in list means you do not have any account with END rate type. Check your account dimension of consolidation model.

Hi Shrikant,

For some reason ( probably after upgrade) the attributes of the account dimension have no value. I am in process of identifying the cause.I will re-generate the rules after restoring them and let you know if this is the only reason.

Hi Iwona,

Check if "END" member is available in Account dimension of rate model. Reprocess dimension and then try.

Thank you for youre engagement.

I have an "END" line defined in the Account dimension in the rate model. I have just re-validated this dimension. Unfortunately the [END] CT rule is still not validated.

My rules were working correctly and validated, before the update system.
Problem reported to SAP Support.
