Problem with Running data manager package

Hi Guys,

I am new to BPC and finding difficulty in executing the Run package.

1) I am trying to export the masterdata to a flat file using Run package. I copied the transformation file ( I didn't make any change to the transformation file). When I am running the data manager package in the Run package window I am not finding the data management option at all. Hence all the Package Names are not appearing at the right hand side.

I have assigned the following roles to myself

/POA/BUI_FLEX_CLIENT

/POA/BUI_UM_USER

The Run package window doesnt show anything.

would anybody tell me what mistake I have been doing.

2) One more funny problem I am facing in Input form.

I am entering data in the input form and when I save it shows 1 record entered, 1 record accepted and 0 records rejected.

However after I close the window the entered value disappears...

Please let me know what mistakes I have been doing..

any help is appreciated...

Hello,

Did checked with the Organize tab whether all the DM Packages are added in your data management.....

Kindly check with that and if not added please add required packages...

Hello,

1)  Even though you have assigned the following roles

I have assigned the following roles to myself

/POA/BUI_FLEX_CLIENT

/POA/BUI_UM_USER

you can't see the DM Packages which are available in other folders except Company folder becuase your not assigned to that team.

Please make sure that you user id is available in the team where DM packages are created/stored.

2) First go RSA1 as Vadim said check there data is available or not if available in RSA1 and doesn't showing data in layout, Please share your context, layout screenshots.

Hi,

I think I have authorization for everything...

1) Would you please tell me how to give authorization for environment ??

I have access to Task profiles(Primary Admin, secondary admin and system admin) and admin data access profile.. Is anything missing ??

2) my input form has 2 fields ..account in row and time in column... As I am enetering data at base level the system is give me the msg 1 record accepted. then after I close the message window, the entered value shd remain in the report but it disappaers. am I missing any setting ??

1. What about security for the environment setup in BPC?

2. If you have "1 record accepted" - then it's saved somewhere but you do not provide any details - impossible to help!
