We have SAP B1 9.3.
We export our products across the world, ie a business partner per country. Our company uses the "Special Prices for Business partners" for maintaining its prices to the customers.
As special prices do not have a valid from and to dates, we cannot update the special prices until orders at the old price are confirmed. And this causes problems and stress all around the effective date.
So I was wondering, is this the most efficient way of maintaining the pricing?
Or wouldn't it be better setting up a price list for each Business Partner, where you could enter the price well in advance and drive it by the effective to and from dates.
Which leads to the question we have c 100 customers, can you have 100 price lists?
What are the pros and cons of the alternative ways.
