Preventing users from DMP Log deletion

Hi,

We are on SAP NW BPC10.

Found that some users are deleting the logs from DMP logs status screen.

Can we prevent/stop users from doing so?

I have checked task profiles and there is no specific task profile to stop the users from deleting DMP logs from BPC front end.

Thanks,

Manohar

Hi Manohar,

There is no task profile that will stop a user from deleting log files.

You need to tell the users not to delete them.

Hi Vadim,

We switched on audit logs for only EPM input forms.Audit logs are not enabled for DMPs,calculations and other functions.(As lot of audit data is being generated we switched off them.)

We thought that we can trace any change done by users from DMP logs(so only switched on audit for EPM input forms).

Thanks,

Manohar

"We thought that we can trace any change done by users from DMP logs" - incorrect idea! DMP logs are not covering all changes!!
