Dear SAP experts,
We use reassignment during CCF to move commitment items to new Fund (via FMYC). We want to prevent any update or input for the field "Fund" in both subsequent documents or new transactions. However, we got problem and hope you could help to share some light.
- If we set the field status for "Fund" as Dispaly --> the requirement is met, however, next year, we have to update the config (change back to "Optional") in order to perform CCF, otherwise, we got error FMCF108.
- If we set the field status as "Optional", no problem for CCF but user still can manually enter/change the Fund during the creation/change of PR/PO
Is there any better solution for this case?
Thanks & regards,
Andy

Hello Andy - reading this SAP Note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/0001638852 - it sounds like SAP wants these fields to be changeable.
The last sentence states this: "If the business requirements of your organization do not allow for the updating of these settings, then contact SAP Support." Source: SAP - perhaps contact SAP Support with your business requirement?
