How to add custom tcode in role and what are the Pre-requisite to add custom TCODE in role.

Hi Mythili,

There are no pre-requisites to add a custom tcode to a role. Best practices are to add it to the role menu.

Manually adding S_TCODE authorization object to the role is not recommended.

Adding tcodes to a role menu is something well documented, please check these links to get familiar with PFCG:

You might also want to fill SU24 with the authorization objects needed for running the transaction, depending on the authority-checks the programmers placed in the program code.

Hi

Use PFCG and enter role go to the Authorisation tab and then display authorisation

Add authorization object S_TCODE and your Tcode with that

The above should be the only Pre-requisite and you can ask any security person in your team to do that it is pretty common
